Most people go through life without any seriousness. They will stand to wait for an elevator as the escalator keeps climbing past them. They say things like "chill" and "there's plenty of time." They don't feel bad losing. Mediocrity feels like a well-worn t-shirt. Once a year they would express a dream, but it sits on the shelf with a thick coat of dust.
We try to find the opposite. People who feel like time is running out, all the time, even in vacations. People who feel devastated when they're not useful. We like people who attach their self-worth to how skilled they are, to the polish and craft of things they've made, to the size of their dreams. It doesn't matter how small or big. But it matters they moved forward with the world a little better with them helping build it.

How we work
Except for things that need to be strictly documented like food safety practices, we don't have policies or rule books. People are not babies. We don't explain things like "don't interrupt people when they're speaking" or "clean up after you use the toilet." We expect people to know how to behave in most situations.
