Bad Bird Family Kit

Years ago when you opened in Century Mall (wow, tagal na), my friend and I tried your chicken and I was just "yum, but saks lang." Hindi mauulit any time soon. And since I live in the north, I wasn't always eating at Bad Bird through the years. (Even when your UPTC branch opened, it wasn't my first choice. But I did eat there a few times.)

Though in 2019, my friend suggested we have dinner at BBX (RIP T.T) cos it's a cheaper version of Bad Bird. Ding ding! Cheaper daw so okay, game. That was the game changer. I found myself appreciating your chicken better na. And here we are.

Onto feedback. Before I get into it, I should point out that one of the chicken pieces in the order was slightly red. Two pieces were a little red but still edible.

But shucks, the chicken was good. The braised beef noodles were good. The braised pork was yum. I regret not ordering an extra of the torched corn and the iced tea. Your mac salad was just okay but everything else was really yum. The family meal fed our family of four twice. Sulit for the price!

After my family finally got fully vaccinated we wanted to have a small reunion at home. It was good seeing my siblings after such a long time, and bonding over great food just like old times! We really enjoyed the family kit, the braised beef noodles were so delicious (nag agawan pa kami bc it was our fave) This family kit is so sulit, since 3 kami magkakapatid, the serving size was pretty big for us and we ended up with leftovers. very good, we loved it!

My husband ordered this for us during a staycation last year in November, and we enjoyed eating this while watching Netflix. It's one of my favorite memories now <3 We tried to recreate it last weekend, and the food did not disappoint! The chicken is even more umami than before, and the tantanmen is my husband's favorite! We will try to make this a yearly tradition. Thank you as well to the team who gave us a free Homebrewed Iced Tea when I told them about this new tradition :)

I got this for my folks because it's my birthday and I've been missing the chemical chicken since they left UP Town and going out to eat really isn't the best idea rn. They loved it.

This kit will happily feed a family of 5 picky eaters twice. These people are generous with their portions!!

The winner of the show was the tantanmen—balanced, refreshing, and masahog. It pairs perfectly with the juicy crackly chicken—still the best out of any offering at this price point. Plump, flavorsome, it's a chicken man's chicken.

I wish they would jar up the pickle they pair with the grilled beef and sell that as an item. I will probably buy a crate if they do.

For the small plates, it would be great to be able to choose which ones to include in the kit. But the corn and the sweet potato were *chef's kiss*

We picked up at Megamall and the food kept well on the journey home. But I think stove-to-table is still the best way to enjoy Bad Bird. So it would be nice to also have reheating guides in the box.

I remember before the pandemic, me and my husband would pick up our 2 daughters from school then head over to Megamall to eat at Bad Bird. Our go-to was always the umami fried chicken and the torched corn and cheese! Since it was me and my husband's anniversary a few days ago we wanted to reminisce by ordering the family kit! We really loved getting to try other items off the menu like the kimchi noodles and the honey butter potato side dish. It's a 10/10 for us! :) We really loved the kit and super looking forward to eating at Bad Bird again post-pandemic.

The food was packaged so well! Opening that big box was like opening a christmas present LOL. My family really liked it! The serving sizes were big, so sulit!

Naisip namin ito i-try ng pamilya ko dahil nakita namin sa Facebook. Di namin alam kung ano oorder namin sa dami ng items sa menu, kaya ito nalang kinuha namin hehe. Salamat sa staff na napaka accomodating sa marami kong tanong. Masarap lahat kahit iba-iba lasa sa isa't isa! Medyo hindi ko nagustuhan yung tantanmen, pero nagustuhan naman ng anak ko. Match parin lahat :D

Sent a few questions regarding my order and they replied really quick! Sent a note indicating thte number of safe, spicy, and chemical and they all came out as I indicated : ) Also appreciated getting an email regarding the delivery of my order and that it came on time
